What if everything you do can cancel each other. On the opposite side of the world lives your opposite, performing ritual cancellation moves preventing you from ever aging, and restoring karma to the world.
Of course this would be too obvious if it did happen so our natural tendency is to move forward in time, little by little. They only cancel just enough by spinning round and round in a counterclockwise fashion. Of course the earth already spins in reverse for them so they don't have to do much work.
This is what is called as a spiritual realm off limits to travelers. That is how the magic stuff works. There is really technology behind it all. But all is hidden conveniently behind a limboness compartment.
Whenever you are travelling on a plane you are actually just going around in circles for hours. And the other side of the world you suppose you go to is really just another studio they setup just for you in approximately not the same place but near enough to communicate by cell phone.
Everything that you know travels along with you. Everything else moves away from you. So that you experience nothing extraordinary. None of the multitude of deja vu so common in other dimensions. The show must go on and so on goodbye. This is a crazy world with crazy people imagining their own things.
Of course you never meet these people. They are far removed from your own. Otherwise your world would just fall apart. And your mental travels would only take you to the institution. All sane people really are are wanderers trying to prove that the world really exists.
Does this prove that sane people are really insane? No it just proves that we are all so wrapped up in our view of the world so that really we are trapped in our own asylum. Ik fine if that's the way you want to think of it, but I just don't want to think that way.
Which one is the majority and which one is the minority. It doesn't matter, for all we know we are dead even due to the sanity rule of infinite diversity - which I just happened to make up by the way. As long as it's entertaining we don't seem to mind. After all a story isn't prerequired to be true, it just has to teach you a lesson.
